Alex Rainer is a songwriter and composer from New York City. His latest album Harbor presents new ambient and soundscape works, and was released in Fall 2021. Time Changes, his fourth album of songs, is centered around Alex’s acclaimed voice and guitar work, and was released in 2020 on Resonating Wood Recordings.

Rainer composes music for film, digital media and theater, and runs the production studio Sangcoby Sound, which was launched in Brooklyn, NY in 2017. He is currently writing and recording his next solo record, along with a number of new collaborations with fellow alt-folk and electronic artists.
